In view of the limited documentation of sheep and goat pox disease in animals of Jammu region, it was felt necessary to conduct a blanket screening of the small ruminant populations in areas where they are largely reared. Brucellosis is a zoonotic bacterial disease of ruminants and also reported from camel. Camels are one of the most important sources of livelihood for the nomadic population of Gujarat. There are limited published information regarding the sero-epidemiology of camel brucellosis in Gujarat. Therefore, present study was aim to determine the brucella specific antibodies in camel from three camel rearing districts of Gujarat using RBPT, i-ELISA and MRT. The study was conducted to review the situation of ruminant rearing at South Chotanagpur division with objectives to identify the major constraints of on-campus trainees of KVKs in adapting the improved animal husbandry practices. Animal husbandry practices like sheep and goat rearing offer many advantages for beginners and also experienced farmers. They are well suited and productive for the prevailing agro-climatic conditions in India. In mammals, health status is governed by the organ of lymphatic system. Though spleen is the secondary lymphatic organ, it is the largest among the lymphoid organs which plays a crucial role in immune function.
