A field experiment was conducted during Kharif season of 2018 in Alfisols to study grain yield of hybrid rice varieties as influenced integrated nutrient management. A field experiment conducted on the effect of organic treatments and spacing on growth and yield parameters of kalmegh under rabi season 2017-18 at college of Horticulture, Rajendranagar revealed that interaction between organic treatments and spacing significantly influenced growth and yield parameters. The treatment M1S1 - FYM 30 t/ha + AMC (7.5 l/ha) with spacing S1 (15 x15 cm) recorded maximum plant height (45.64 cm) at harvest, followed by M3S3- Neem cake 7.5 t/ha + AMC 7.5 l/ha with spacing S3 (30 x 45 cm). Minimum was recorded in M5S3 – control at spacing (S3- 30 x 45 cm).

This study was aimed at quantifying yield loss due to high temperature induced damages on head rice recovery in rice. Fifteen rice varieties were evaluated over 3 seasons and their head rice recovery was estimated. Results of this study revealed that day temperature had no influence on the head rice recovery whereas night temperature had negative impact on head rice recovery at p < 0.05.

A Field experiment was conducted at College farm, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, PJTSAU, Hyderabad to study the effect of zinc fertilization on quality and yield of baby corn during kharif season 2016.
