Seed priming in tomato
-
Beneficial microbes group of rhizobacteria such as Pseudomonas spp. and Bacillus sp. can serve as, PGPR and biological antagonists against with plant pathogens and can increase plant resistance through primed seeds. This study aimed to determine the activity of Pseudomonas spp. and Bacillus sp. in promoting germination and seedling growth of tomato plants.

The experiment was conducted to standardize the best treatment of electromagnetic and botanicals for Tomato (PKM-1). Three methods of priming vizmagnetopriming, electropriming, and organicpriming with control (Unprimed) were evaluated by screening different duration (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 6 hours and 12 hours) and different concentrations viz.
