The study described the preparation of composite material through the dispersion of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) decorated with silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) in the matrix of blending natural rubber (NR) and polyethylene (PE) for use as an antibacterial agent. The FESEM results indicated the uniform and defect-free surface of the synthesized composites.

In this paper, we report a simple and fast method to produce uniform nano-sized Ag particles that can be dispersed in the oil phase by using oleic acid as solvent and capping agent. Oleylamine, a longchain amine that can act as an electron donor at elevated temperatures and is miscible with oleic acid, was selected as a reductant.

In this study, the effect of plant growth regulators (BA and NAA), ripe bananas in combination with potato, humic acid, and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were investigated to find a suitable condition for in vitro plant regeneration from R. imschootiana protocorm-like body (PLB). The results showed that after 45 days of culture, MS medium supplemented with 100 g ripe banana/liter and 100 g potato/liter was suitable for regenerating shoots from the protocorm-like body (PLB) (17.56 shoots/PLBs and 100.00% of shoot-regenerating PLBs).

The present study focuses on the preparation of silver/copper bimetallic hybrid nanoparticles by green method from precursor solutions of silver nitrate & copper nitrate and the locally available citrus fruit (lemon) peel extract which behaves as the stabilizing and reducing agent. In the management of burn wounds, antimicrobial and wound healing properties are crucial. In this study, we prepared a three-layer electrospun poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) membrane for burn wound dressing. The present study aims to investigate the potential of the new formulations including silver (I) nanoparticles as well as copper (II) and zinc (II) chelates in their separated and complex forms in the treatment of infectious diseases. The capacity of metallic ion based systems to suppress the development of microorganism often seen on wounds, such as Gram-negative bacteria (Klebsiella pneumonia ATCC 700603, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853), Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213), and fungi (Candida albicans ATCC 10231) were evaluated by microdilution assay.

We report on the improved stability and yield of silver nanorods with well controlled aspect ratios synthesized using a modified seed mediated approach conducted at room temperature. It is found that the longitudinal surface plasmon resonance of these nanoparticles can be tuned in the spectral range 400e 700 nm by varying the concentration of seed particles.
