The present study focuses on the preparation of silver/copper bimetallic hybrid nanoparticles by green method from precursor solutions of silver nitrate & copper nitrate and the locally available citrus fruit (lemon) peel extract which behaves as the stabilizing and reducing agent. Initially, the formation of hybrid nanoparticles was noticed in the reaction mixture by colour change.

A portable and simple Raman scattering and photoluminescence spectroscopy system was set up for sensitive and rapid determination of nitrate/nitrite at low concentrations in water samples. The SERS (Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering) e active Ag/ITO substrates were prepared and employed to obtain the enhanced Raman scattering light from the sample.

Ethylene is an important phytohormone that regulates several aspects of plant development including those crucial for drought tolerance. The main aim of the present work was to investigate variability in ethylene sensitivity of mungbeans to seed germination, waterlogging, and leaf senescence, and the underlying transcriptional regulation of ethylene biosynthetic/responsive genes. Significant variation was observed for silver-nitrate–mediated germination inhibition and flooding stress tolerance among the mungbean genotypes.

In this study, silver nanoparticle (AgNP) synthesis was carried out using Onosma sericeum Willd. aqueous extract for the first time, with a simple, economical, and green method without the need for any other organic solvent or external reducing or stabilizing agent. A variety of AgNPs, all of different particle sizes, were synthesized by controlling the silver ion concentration, extract volume, temperature, and pH. It was determined that the optimum conditions for AgNP synthesis were 1 mM AgNO3 , pH 8, 25 °C, 20 g/200 mL extract, silver nitrate, and extract ratio 5:1 (v/v).

A renewable innate source aqueous Capparis decidua stem extract was used to investigate an eco-friendly approach for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) from silver nitrate solution. Biosynthesized silver nanoparticles were characterized by UV-visible Spectroscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy (FTIR). The UV-visible spectroscopy showed the maximum absorbance i.e. 0.94 at 460 nm.

This research has analyzed, evaluated ground water salinity in Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province by determining the concentration Chloride-Silver nitrate titration with Chromate indicator (MO Method) and establishing a zoning map of salinity. The results showed the groundwater at researched areas was being saline over the allowable standards many times. The highest salinity concentration of Cl- exceeded 15 times the allowable standards. This study consequently proposed some solutions for efficient using of water and reducing the groundwater salinity level in the region.

A versatile technique was implemented for the synthesis of silver nanoparticle using aqueous extract of leaves of Gymnema sylvestre. The reduction of silver nitrate to silver nanoparticle was confirmed by UV-Vis spectrophotometer showing a typical resonance (SPR) at about 390nm which is specific for ag NPs. In FT-IR analysis the strong band peak at 3355cm-1 in aqueous extract is vibration bands, which may be due to overlapping of amine N- H stretching bands.

Silver nano particles were synthesized using two potential isolates of Trichoderma, Psudomonas fluorescens and one isolate of pathogen Rhizoctonia solani cell free culture filtrates incubated at different days 0, 5, 10 and 15.
