Single vendor - multi buyers

This paper presents an extended integrated inventory model with multi vendors that produce one item product and supply it to multi buyers. It is assumed that vendor production rates are not equal and the demands of buyers assumed to be normally distributed and independent. The model formulation was made for each buyer and vendor. Then, each cost component from the buyer and vendor is combined to form the total inventory costs. This model uses the service level as constraint. The final mathematical model consists of formulations of the total inventory costs with certain service level.

This paper describes about two strategies in consignment inventory based supply chain with controllable lead time and delaying last delivery comprising a two level supply chain involving single vendor and multi buyers. This model would give minimum joint total expected cost of the strategies involving vendor and buyer, simultaneously to optimize quantitative decision variables. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the benefit of the proposed strategies and the effect of changes on the cost and parameters are studied.

In this paper, an integrated inventory model is developed from the perspective of a single vendor and multi-buyers for deteriorating items under fuzzy environment and inflation. In the development of the model, it is assumed that all costs parameters, demand and the production rates are imprecise in nature; they are represented by the trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, as these parameters are not constant and can be disturbed due to daily market changes.
