Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA)

In the field of 24/7 human health monitoring, pervasive computing makes possible the continuous analysis of physiological parameters from an ambulatory device with a great acceptability. This paper presents two methods for obtaining cardiac and respiratory rates from a single arterial pressure signal: AM-FM demodulation and Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA). With the aim to monitor sleep apnea, two simulated central sleep apnea were performed and recorded with Biopac reference system.

This paper presents an online bearing damage identifying method named ASBDIM based on ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System), Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) and sparse filtering. This is an online estimating process operated via two phases, offline and online one. In the offline period, by using SSA and sparse filtering, a database signed Off DaB is built whose inputs are features extracted from the measured data stream typed big data, while its outputs are values encoding the surveyed bearing damage statuses.

In this paper, the identifying undamaged-beam status based on singular spectrum analysis (SSA) and wavelet neural networks (WNN) is presented. First, a database is built from measured sets and SSA which works as a frequency-based filter. A WNN model is then designed which consists of the wavelet frame building, wavelet structure designing and establishing a solution for training the WNN.
