  • Transplanting is the major method of rice cultivation in India. Irrespective of the method of paddy crop establishment, weed is a major impediment to rice production through its ability to compete for resources and their impact on paddy crop yields. The cutting tool will make a reciprocation maximum motion of 6 cm perpendicular to the direction of transplanted crop rows. This gives an effective working width of 16 cm leaving 7 cm as root protective zone on either side of the weeded rows.

  • This paper deals with studying and modeling static friction coefficient (SFC) and dynamic friction coefficient (DFC) of wheat grain as affected by several treatments. Significance of single effect (SE) and dual interaction effect (DIE) of treatments (moisture content and contact surface) on SFC and, SE, DIE, and triple interaction effect (TIE) of treatments (moisture content, contact surface and sliding velocity) on DFC were determined using statistical analysis methods. Multiple linear regression (MLR) modeling was employed to predict SFC and DFC on different contact surfaces.

  • Titin is known to interact with actin thin filaments within the I-band region of striated muscle sarcomeres. In this study, we have used a titin fragment of 800 kDa (T800) purified from striated skeletal muscle to measure the effect of this interaction on the functional properties of the actin– myosin complex. MALDI-TOF MS revealed that T800 contains the entire titin PEVK (Pro, Glu, Val, Lys-rich) 1 domain.

  • The velocity at which radiation travels (or propagates) through a medium is dependent on the medium itself When radiation travels through a medium and does not undergo a frequency change, it cannot be undergoing a permanent energy transfer However, radiation can still interact with the medium – Radiation, an EM field, polarizes the electron clouds of atoms in the medium – Polarization is a temporary deformation of the electron clouds

  • An ocean wave is an undulation of the sea surface. Wave crest,Wave trough,Wave height,Wave lengt,Wave period Progressive waves move across the sea surface.,Standing waves oscillate about a fixed point. Wind velocity : Wind duration, Fetch (distance over which wind blows), Simply put, wave size increases as all these factors increase.

The colors other than blue (and green) are absorbed by the water molecules in the first few meters only blue (and green) are reflected Sound is transmitted better Sound is transmitted better in water than it is in air Sound velocity in the ocean is about 1500 m/s, or about 4 times its speed in air Sound velocity increases with pressure and temperature
