The applied methodology makes use of a political-philosophical approach, based on the hypothetical-deductive method through bibliographical research. The aim of the article is to show how the sociological and political categories of charism and authority are still pregnant in contemporary Western societies and the possibility of moderating the power of charismatic personalism through democratic institutions.

In the paper "Urban characterization by the green supply chain management concept: A review" a new model is developed for the design of sustainable supply chains with a focus on cities that captures the frequency of network link operations, which is especially relevant to cities due to frequent freight deliveries. This article introduces the concept of ‘pioneer journalism’ to provide just such an analysis across different organizational contexts. Pioneer journalism is understood as a particular group of journalists that incorporates new organizational forms and experimental practice in pursuit of redefining the field and its structural foundations. To introduce this concept, the article argues along three stages. First, it develops a theoretical basis on which to pin our understanding of pioneering practice by reviewing previous research into journalism’s transformation beyond the newsroom.

This study was conducted to identify, evaluate and measure the attributes of accountants’ commitment with FDI firms in Noi Bai industrial park, Hanoi based on the organizational commitment theory of Meyer & Allen (1991) and Creative application in economics sociological knowledge. Beside, we based on literature review and the results of some interviews, 150 questionnaires were sent directly to accountants in FDI firms in Noi Bai industrial park and were collected in 1 month. However, only 110 questionnaires were satisfactory and included in the analysis.

In this paper, we explored the research question: Does Twitter in a large-lecture format university course produced a difference in levels of selfreported student engagement? To do so, we utilize a quasi-experimental design testing the effect of Twitter on student engagement in introductory sociology and anthropology courses. Our hypotheses predicted that students using Twitter would report higher levels of five forms of student engagement (academic, intellectual, peer, and beyond-class engagement, along with an overall engagement variable).

This is probably the first study that has used resilience, the adaptive cycle and panarchy as a major part of the conceptual foundation for the work. Resilience (as used here) has been explored in the literature for about 30 years, the adaptive cycle originated about 18 years ago and both have been integrated within the panarchy concept for only a few years.
