The paper "The behavior analysis of bolted end-plate connections under static load by using finite element method" investigates the mechanical behavior of bolted end-plate beam-to- column connections with changes of thin of end-plate and size of bolts under bending moment. The finite element models are generated in ANSYS software, in specially all of meshes are hexahedral meshes as well as be continuous at welding. The results obtained from this study are validated based on three factors: loading capacity, moment resistance and joint rotation.

This paper introduces a novel framework, July, which serves the dual purpose of detecting vulnerable commits and localizing the root causes of the vulnerabilities. The fundamental concept of July is that the determinant of the vulnerability of a commit is the inherent meaning embedded in its changed code. For just-in-time vulnerability detection (JIT-VD), July represents each commit by a Code Transformation Graph and employs a Graph Neural Network model to capture their meanings and distinguish between vulnerable and non-vulnerable commits.

A double-pass interferometer is implemented to produce interference signals modulated with a sine waveform phase change associated with a tool’s ultrasonic vibrating displacement, calculated by the phase meter’s quadrature demodulation algorithm.

This research aims to assess the stability of the Bung Xang Lake embankment in the context of changing water levels due to change climate, specifically recent high tides. In this research, data from two cross-sections were collected and analyzed using Plaxis 2D V22 software. The simulation results indicate that the piles with a length of 11.30 meters, as per the design, still fall within the deformation range of the subsoil, especially at the surveyed location with weak and thick geological conditions (MC2-2), which limits the effectiveness of the piles.

In this study, we mapped and evaluated LULC changes in Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province, over a period of 10 years based on Landsat 8 satellite image data processed on ArcGIS software. On that basis, we carried out the simulation of the LULC change for 2033 using the QGIS MOLUSCE plugin.

This paper presents the results of determining the coefficient of friction when cold plastic deformation by the method of cold ring upsetting with different lubricants. The ring upsetting process is performed with varying degrees of deformation with three lubricants used: industrial oil, cooking oil, and zinc sulfate powder. Based on the deformation and dimension change of the samples after the upsetting, the coefficient of friction was determined by correlation comparison with the friction calibration curve performed by Male and Cockcroft.

The purpose of the study is to quantify breast dose to reassure patients and staff that these understandings still apply. A combination of measurements and simulations were used to estimate absorbed breast dose. Gafchromic® XR-QA2 film was used to measure breast dose placed inside the RANDO® phantom in a series of controlled experiments. The RANDO® is an anthropomorphic phantom commonly used for dosimetry investigations. Gafchromic® XR QA2 film is a radiochromic film that changes colour when irradiated. Simulation is commonly used and readily available.
