In this study, we employ MaxEnt, a widely used species distribution modeling method, to predict climatically suitable habitat for P. nemaeus at present, and then project the optimal model using a range of future climate change scenarios to understand the possible shifts in response to climate change over the entire range of the Red-shanked Douc.

Aristolochia austroyunnanensis S. M. Hwang (family Aristolochiaceae), a species endemic to southern China, is newly recorded for the flora of Vietnam. This newly recorded species belong to subgenus Siphisia and is most similar to Aristolochia petelotii O. C. Schmidt and Aristolochia fangchi C. Wu ex L. D. Chow & S. M. Hwang. Detailed morphological descriptions and color illustrations, together with information on distribution, habitat, phenology, and taxonomic notes are given. An identification key to all known Siphisia species in Vietnam is also provided.

The studies involving water bugs (Hemiptera) biodiversity and ecology are very few and have mainly focused on taxonomy. We conducted research and evaluation of diversity indexes of water bugs (Hemiptera) in different landscapes including forest habitats, agricultural lands, ponds, streams from 16 sampling sites in Bac Kan, Lao Cai, Ninh Binh and Ha Tinh provinces. As a result, a total of 43 species of 23 genera of 10 families were recorded.

The paper results showed that the more than ten years mangrove community is a stable forest biome. Mangroves from 10 years old should be planned with different species to increase the diversity in species structure and enhance the ability to stabilize the community and withstand changes in coastal habitats.

This study has provided the most comprehensive update on the mosquito fauna in urban areas of Ha Noi city based on the systematic selection of sampling habitats. Most of the sampling sites were occupied by mosquito larvae or pupae. The diversity of mosquito species varied between sites and was associated with the types of breeding habitats at each site.

The Francois’ Langur (Trachypithecus francoisi) is an endangered primate belonging to subfamily Colobinae. The species was historically widespread in seven northern provinces of Viet Nam. Ba Be National Park is located in Vietnam’s northern mountains, and is a home to several small groups of T. francoisi. The objective of these surveys is to reveal distribution, group size and threats to species and its habitats.

The species of this family are facing tremendous pressure due to habitat degradation, overexploitation and changing environmental conditions. Therefore, while exploring the floristic diversity of NUPA, attempts were made to explore the orchid diversity, distribution patterns, nativity, endemism, threat categories, and local uses.

Ebook "Anolis lizards of the Caribbean: Ecology, evolution, and plate tectonics" are ideally suited for the study of evolutionary ecology. Offering fascinating insights into the more than 150 species dispersed throughout the Caribbean islands, Jonathan Roughgarden details the differences between species in a wide range of behavioral and physical characteristics, including foraging behaviors, body size, and habitat use, resulting from evolutionary divergences concurrent with the plate-tectonic origins of the region.

The diversity and ecology of spiders were studied in the Ngoc Thanh buffer zone of Tam Dao National Park, the Cuc Phuong buffer zone of Cuc Phuong National Park, and the Ba Trai buffer zone of Ba Vi National Park. Spiders were collected by five methods: pitfall traps, litter sampling, tree beating, sweep netting, and visual searches in four types of habitats including secondary forests, artificial forests, shrublands, and home gardens.

Grasslands dominate land cover nationally and globally, and their composition, structure and habitat value are strongly influenced by the actions of domestic and wild grazing animals that feed on them. Different pastures are characterised by varying opportunities for selective feeding by livestock; agronomically improved, sown swards generally consist of a limited range of plant species whereas longer-term leys and semi-natural grasslands are characterised by a more diverse mixture of plants.
