Speed of adjustment

This paper studies the connection between CEO experience and Vietnamese listed firms’ capital adjustment behavior. In the context of Vietnam, we find that experienced CEOs slow down the speed of obtaining the desired ratio of debt, after analyzing a sample of 694 public companies from 2010 to 2019.

This experiment examines various aspects of integration in selected regulated wholesale markets for vegetables at South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India. These regulated markets were established to improve the marketing efficiency. Johansen test was used to find out the integration of markets.

A self-propelled multipurpose power unit was developed in the laboratory of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, JNKVV, Jabalpur for small farmers. The prime mower is powered by 5hp diesel engine. V-belt drive is provided for transmission of power from the engine to the traction wheels. An adjustable accelerator wire is connected to the governor for adjusting the engine speed according to the requirement.

The study found that the firms which hold cash above the optimal level of cash holdings have higher speed of adjustment than the firms which hold cash below the optimal level. Financially constrained (FC) firms also adjust their cash holdings faster than financially unconstrained (FUC) firms but high speed of downward adjustment does not remain persistent after financial constraints are controlled. Findings of this study reveal this asymmetric adjustment in above and below target firms and extend these results in FC and FUC Pakistani listed firms, respectively.

This paper presents the modeling and simulation of wind turbine driven by doubly-fed induction generator which feeds ac power to the distribution network. A stator flux oriented vector control is used for the variable speed doubly-fed induction generator operation. By controlling the generator excitation current the amplitude of the stator EMF is adjusted equal to the amplitude of the grid voltage.

This paper examines the degree of pass-through and adjustment speed of retail interest rates in response to changes in monetary policy rates in commercial banks of Viet Nam during the period 07/2004 to 06/2014. The results show that the degree of pass-through of retail interest rates is incomplete but high (0.7-0.93). The adjustment speed of money market rates & retail interest rates is relatively slow.
