The study "Characterization of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal communities associated with vineyards in northwestern Iran" was aimed to investigate AMF spore density, species composition, mycorrhizal colonization patterns, and correlation of these indices with soil physicochemical parameters at four vineyards located in one of the most important grape-producing regions of Iran (West Azerbaijan province).

We investigated the diversity of AM fungi in Dalli-Rajhara (Chhattisgarh, India) mine overburden (OB) dump and compares with natural forest soils of adjoining areas. Soil samples were collected from rhizosphere region of planted and naturally growing tree species in mine OB dump. AM spore was isolated by wet sieving and decanting and sucrose floatation method, spore density (per 100g dry soil) was calculated.

The aim of this study was to study the use of a beads-based biofertilizer in crop production. The study focuses on the production of a beads-based biofertilizer containing spores and vegetative cells of Bacillus megaterium (B. megaterium) VACC 118. It also evaluated the quality of the biofertilizer and its effects on the growth and yield of cabbage. The results show that the density of B. megaterium in the beadsbased biofertilizer reached 4.34×1010 CFU/g and did not change after 6 months of storage. The degree of swelling of the beads was 1.

Arbuscular mycorrhizal status of Pippali a medicinal plant species in the Jorhat district of Assam, India were surveyed during 2018. Percent colonization, spore density and diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi associated with the rhizospheric soil and roots of pippali growing wild as well as under cultivated conditions were investigated. It was found that 100% of the surveyed sample was of mycorrhizal infestation. The spore colonization per cent of AMF ranged from 30.80 to 66.50% spores per 100 g of soil. The maximum spore population (185.

The diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) is of great interest because of their potential function in ecosystems. Tree peony is an important traditional ornamental and medicinal plant with economic significance. We examined the mycorrhizal status of the rhizosphere of 14 common cultivars of tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa) in 3 different geographic locations in China.
