Agricultural education is an important tool in ensuring increased agricultural productivity, sustainability, environmental and ecological security, profitability, job security and equity. Different committees (ICAR Review Committee 1979; Deans Committee 1981) recommended for strong linkage of agricultural education with actual farming situation through the programme.

The aim of this research is to determine the tolerance of Pseudomonas species and Bacillus species to Chloropyrifos and Cyahalothrin pesticides. The study area was the Rivers State University school farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Rivers State, Nigeria. The University farm is a large area of land that specializes in fish farming, livestock farming, poultry farming and all types of agricultural product farming. The university farm has also been used by students for research purposes.

The job satisfaction of employees occupies the important place in the field of human resource management. Faculty of higher education institutes make a big community of this sector. They train, teach and lead their students to work efficiently in the interest of society. Therefore, keeping in view the present scenario of society, educational institutes and the importance of job satisfaction of employees working in the institutions the present study was planned to assess the level of job satisfaction of employees in selected state agricultural universities and traditional universities.

The study was conducted in 4 main agricultural universities in Uttar Pradesh, by interviewing 300 respondents who were selected through proportionate random sampling technique on the criteria of having four year degree programme of B.Sc.(Ag.), two year degree programme M.Sc.(Ag.) and three year degree programme Ph.D.(Ag.).

India especially the state of Bihar was a place of learning where about 20000-50000 students from all over the world were coming to gain knowledge in various world famous Universities of Nalanda and Vikaramshilla where about 10,000 teachers were residing day & night in search of new thoughts and theories of life. Dr Komolong presented details of a fish nutrition and poultry feed experiment undertaken by students he was supervising at the University of Technology (Department of Agriculture) in Lae. Both students were participating in the workshop. The first presentation was titled Evaluation of local protein and energy sources for GIFT Tilapia Farming in Papua New Guinea (Densley Tapat) and the second was titled Evaluation of two Leucaena leafmeals and copra meal as substitute feeds for broiler chicken finisher diets (Eric Nogas).
