The purpose of our research is to study the existing problems in the food supply chain management and to propose a decision-making algorithm for efficient and competitive business development. The study and generalization of theoretical studies in the field of food supply chain management allowed us to identify and formulate the specifics of this industry with the help of the following research methods: selection of logistics intermediaries, forecasting (indicators, flows, etc.), arrangement of nomenclature groups, optimization under risk conditions, statistical methods in data processing.

The goal of the study is to determine ASEAN’s economic cooperation process and opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to invest in the ASEAN economic community in the period 1991 to 2020, and a vision to 2025-2030. To determine the investment trends of Vietnamese businesses in the AEC community according to specific fields, statistical and analytical techniques were used to conduct this research. An analysis of the study was presented in a table on the direct investment situation of Vietnamese enterprises to the AEC community according to each specific field in the period 1991 - 2020.

The infant mortality rate (IMR) is still a key indicator in a middle-income country such as Ecuador where a slightly increase up to 11.75 deaths per thousand life births has been observed in 2019. The purpose of this study is to propose and apply a prioritization method that combines clusters detection (Local Indicators of Spatial Association, LISA) and a monotonic statistic depicting time trend over 10 years (Mann–Kendall) at municipal level.

In recent years, seismicity has increased considerably in the Aegean Sea region and there have been earthquakes in which people lost their lives. The major earthquakes, Kos Island-Gökova Bay (Mw = 6.6), Lesvos Island-Karaburun (İzmir) (Mw = 6.2) and Samos Island-Aegean Sea (Mw = 6.9) occurred in the Aegean Sea and affected Aegean region strongly. Within the scope of this study, the seismic b-value of these major earthquakes was calculated in order to perform earthquake statistical analysis.

The results indicate a statistically significant increase in extreme rainfall at the expense of light, moderate, and heavy rainfall over time. The only negative relationship is found in dry days. The most statistically significant trends exist in the 99th percentile, maximum, and R100 parameters with p-values of 0.07, 0.08, and 0.11, respectively
