Bệnh nhân được chẩn đoán hội chứng Wellen type A, điều trị theo phác đồ hội chứng vành cấp.

Cardiac hypertrophy (CH), leading to cardiac failure is due to chronic metabolic alterations occurring during cellular stress. Besides the already known relationship between oxidative stress and CH, there are implications of reductive stress leading to CH. This study attempted to develop reductive stress-based CH rat model using n-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC), a glutathione agonist that was compared with typical isoproterenol (ISO) induced CH model.

Surgical stress, liberation of cytokines associated with re-perfusion injury, and long standing use of immune suppressive medications in children recipients of orthotopic living related liver transplantation (OLRLT) pose cardiovascular risk. Reported cardiovascular adverse effects vary from left ventricular wall thickening, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy to resting ECG abnormalities, asymptomatic ST depression following increased heart rate and ventricular arrhythmias. Twenty-five consecutive children recipients of OLRLT were assessed by conventional 2-D, M-mode echocardiography and Doppler.

Chief complaint: Reason for admission to the ICU. History of present illness: This section should included pertinent chronological events leading up to the hospitalization. It should include events during hospitalization and eventual admission to the ICU. Prior cardiac history: Angina (stable, unstable, changes in frequency), exacerbating factors (exertional, rest angina). History of myocardial infarction, heart failure, coronary artery bypass graft surgery, angioplasty. Previous exercise treadmill testing, ECHO, ejection fraction.
