The model utilizes material parameters and actual airport hard pavement structures and calculates for many types of aircraft commonly operating in Vietnam.

In this work, Ag(Cu)InS2 semiconductor nanoparticles were synthesized via microwave and solvothermal methods. The effects of synthetical parameters on the structure and morphology of the nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, UV–Vis, and EDX. The experimental results reveal that the AgInS2 compound can be crystallized in two different phases, which are tetragonal and orthorhombic.

Two ionic liquids named triethyl ammonium oleate ([TEA][Oleate] and triethyl ammonium stearate ([TEA][Stearate]) were synthesized from triethyl amine and oleic/stearic acids in water and in ethanol solvents. The synthesized ionic liquids were characterized by FT-IR and NMR spectra to confirm their structure. The influence of some parameters such as structure of ionic liquid anion, solvent, reaction time, reaction temperature, and acid/amine molar ratio on the synthesis processes of triethyl ammonium oleate and triethyl ammonium stearate was investigated.

In this paper, the provisions for predicting the punching shear capacity of two-way reinforced concrete (RC) flat slabs without shear reinforcement including ACI 318-19, Eurocode 2 and TCVN 5574:2018 provisions are reviewed by mean of considering the influences of the main parameters (effective depth, compressive strength of concrete, loaded area, reinforcement ratio).

This paper aims to apply the developed ADE to optimize truss structures subjected to frequency constraints. In addition, limitations of the AOA are also discussed, as well as how to overcome them. In each iteration, a randomly generated probability parameter is used to determine whether AOA or DE that would be used to generate new candidate solutions in the population.

The C-EPS steering system's performance is affected by a range of technical parameters, including steering column inertia, steering column stiffness, column damping, rack stiffness, rack damping, and steering column pinion radius. Once the mechanical properties of printed TPU are characterised, a novel, low cost, and environmentally friendly method for concrete casting using printed TPU moulds is proposed in this thesis. The findings of this thesis will provide clear guidelines for the selection of processing parameters for additively manufactured TPU parts and the method of casting complicated concrete structures with additively manufactured TPU mould.

In recent years, seismicity has increased considerably in the Aegean Sea region and there have been earthquakes in which people lost their lives. The major earthquakes, Kos Island-Gökova Bay (Mw = 6.6), Lesvos Island-Karaburun (İzmir) (Mw = 6.2) and Samos Island-Aegean Sea (Mw = 6.9) occurred in the Aegean Sea and affected Aegean region strongly. Within the scope of this study, the seismic b-value of these major earthquakes was calculated in order to perform earthquake statistical analysis.

The tectonic and structural properties of Erzurum and its surroundings have been investigated by evaluating the seismotectonic b - value, magnetic anomaly, edge detection analysis (total horizontal derivative (THDR) and tilt angle (TA)), Curie Point Depth (CPD), P-wave velocity (Vp), and Vp / Vs (S - wave velocity) ratio and by imaging the regional distributions of these parameters. For this purpose, all parameters have been combined to be able to reveal the new useful results on the study region and are presented for different locations and depths.

In this paper, we report a numerical calculation of the influence of structural parameters on the supercontinuum generation of photonic crystal fibers. A photonic crystal fiber based on the fused silica glass, eight rings of air holes ordered in a hexagonal lattice, is proposed. Guiding properties in terms of dispersion and confinement loss of the fundamental mode are also studied numerically. As a result, the broadband width of the supercontinuum spectrum will increase when the lattice pitch decreases or the diameter of air hole in the cladding increases.
