The whole group was transferred by boat to a floating pontoon located approximately 100m from the bank. The structure was anchored in water about 25-30 m deep. This was the second such platform constructed at Yonki Dam; the first had been vandalised and sunk. The new structure was floated using large sections of sealed PVC piping lashed with wire and rope. The spatial effect of the no longer existing original is taken up by the appearance of the protective building, which - even with the biggest restraint - goes beyond its actual function. In order to counteract that, a timber construction was planned, which should allusively be an approach of the original structure. Different criteria (purely functional, modern arrangement, following the appearance of the buildings etc.) were discussed and calculated.
