Submaximal exercise
-
Aerobic capacity tests are important to evaluate exercise programs and to encourage individuals to have a physically active lifestyle. Submaximal tests, if proven valid and reliable could be used for estimation of maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max).

COPD patients have decreased physical fitness, and have an increased risk of vascular disease. In the general population, fitness is positively associated with resting cerebral blood flow velocity, however, little is known about the cerebrovascular response during exercise particularly in COPD patients.

The 6-minute walk test (6MWT) is used to measure exercise capacity and assess prognosis in interstitial lung disease (ILD). Although the 6MWT is usually considered to be a test of submaximal exercise capacity in ILD, the physiological load imposed by this test is not well described and 6MWT outcomes are poorly understood.

The 6-Minute Walk Test (6MWT) is representative of daily-life activities and reflects the functional capacity of patients. The change of oxygen uptake (VO2) in the initial phase of low-intensity exercise (VO2 kinetics) can be used to assess submaximal exercise performance of patients.

Examination of F2-isoprostane and IL-6 plasma performed using ELISA method. Blood was drawn before and after submaximal exercise with a multi-stage test run. The result showed there is a very significant influence on F2-isoprostane and IL-6 plasma levels after submaximal exercise on the student of PPLP West Sumatra with p

Fatigue is a common worrying complaint among people performing physical activities on the basis of training or rehabilitation. An enormous amount of research articles have been published on the topic of fatigue and its effect on physical and physiological functions. The goal of this review was to focus on the effect of fatigue on muscle activity, proprioception, and cognitive functions and to summarize the results to understand the influence of fatigue on these functions.
