This paper investigates the influence of energy density within the molten region on crack formation within the deposition layers of Inconel 625 nickel alloy formed using DLMD technology. We report on the improved stability and yield of silver nanorods with well controlled aspect ratios synthesized using a modified seed mediated approach conducted at room temperature. It is found that the longitudinal surface plasmon resonance of these nanoparticles can be tuned in the spectral range 400e 700 nm by varying the concentration of seed particles.

This article reports a novel and low temperature (275 C) synthesis of one-dimensional (1D) NWs of ZnTe on glass substrate. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray analysis (EDX) revealed that prepared NWs have good crystallinity and yield.
