  • A 14 months old male goat with growth on lower jaw was presented to the Bai Sakrabai Dinshaw Petit Hospital for Animal, an affiliated animal hospital to Bombay Veterinary College, Mumbai. On thorough clinical examination, it was revealed that extensive growth on lower jaw was present since last two and half months. On palpation the growth was big in size, hard and firmly attached to lower jaw, hard, big in size like. The history from animal owner revealed that the growth was painless and progressively increased in size over a period of time.

  • An 18 month old cross bred heifer was brought to Veterinary Teaching Clinical Complex showing estrus behavior with congenitally fused vulvular labia. Two small opening of approximately 8mm and 2mm in diameter were observed at the dorsal and ventral commissure of vulva respectively. Surgical correction of the vulva with subsequent artificial insemination of the heifer was successfully accomplished.

  • Two splenic tumor cases of dogs were presented with distended abdomen. Both the dogs showed anorexia, lethargy and not responding to medical treatment. Blood examination showed low hemoglobin and platelet counts. The dogs were surgically operated for removal of very big spleen under Propofol and isoflurane anaesthesia. Haemoabdomen was observed during surgery. Post operatively they were treated with antibiotics and Tab. Prednisolone. Both the dogs recovered uneventfully and are still alive. Histopathological examination of masses reveled splenic haemangiosarcoma.
