In India, redgram mainly grown in many states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Andra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and it occupies 3.89 million hectares of area with the about 3.30 million tonnes of production, having yield of 849 kg per hectare on an average. In Karnataka, redgram accounts an area of 0.82 million hectares with the 0.61 million tonnes of production, having an average productivity of 733 kg per ha.

Doctoral students have often requested concrete examples and guidelines from us. On the other hand, many guidebooks are at a more general level than the requested instruction. Ideally, adequate guidance would be conducted by a supervising professor, or a research group, but this is not always the case. This guidebook attempts to provide tangible tips that have been identified as beneficial for writing articles. Once someone tries to concretise the process of writing they are also easier to criticise.

Most programs can use their own records to obtain outcome information for at least some of their outcome indicators. For example, homeless shelters can track the number of overnight uses of their facilities. Food distribution programs can track the number of meals they provide or the number of different people they serve. And most programs should be able to use their records to track their response times from client request to service provision.

The proposed new local audit regime would continue to provide Parliament with the assurances it needs on public spending. The National Audit Office would prepare the Codes of audit practice, which prescribe the way in which auditors are to carry out their functions, and which would continue to be approved by Parliament, and associated guidance. The National Audit Office would also continue to audit Government departments providing funding to local public bodies and will continue to receive Whole of Government Accounts returns.

Similar to the physician studies, nurses described an anticipatory or pre-reflection, occurring before an activity, as central to their practice. They also described reflection both ‘‘in’’ their practice and ‘‘on’’ it. Participants reflected on ethical considerations, on situa- tions that required courage and novel situations requiring creative approaches. They reported guidance and supervision as key to reflection. Teekman (2000) studied ten registered nurses, and analyzed ten non-routine nursing situations for the presence of reflective thinking.

This book emerged from a stream of research conducted in CASTLE Laboratory at Princeton University during the period 2006 - 2011. Initially, the work was motivated by the "exploration vs. exploitation" problem that arises in the design of algorithms for approximate dynamic programming, where it may be necessary to visit a state to learn the value of being in the state. However, we quickly became aware that this basic question had many applications outside of dynamic programming. The results of this research were made possible by the efforts and contributions of numerous colleagues.
