Farm innovators plays a vital role in innovation development and they supplement formal research, since these innovators develop cost effective, eco-friendly and easy to adopt technologies. Farmers develop the appropriate technologies/innovations to ease their work and which are suitable for their local conditions. A study was conducted to study constraints faced by the farm innovators. The study has been conducted during the year 2016-17 in seven districts of southern Karnataka. Among these districts, 36 farm innovators were identified for the study.

This research utilizes the disaster risk concept developed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to determine and assess the storm surge risk in aquaculture in the coastal area from Quang Ninh to Ninh Binh province. The results indicated that the highest level of risk occurred in Thai Thuy district (Thai Binh province) and Quang Yen town (Quang Ninh province). The second highest level or risks occurred in Tien Hai district (Thai Binh province), Mong Cai city and Hai Ha district (Quang Ninh province).

MorP is a system for automatic word class assignment on the basis of surface features. It has a very small lexicon of form words (%o entries), and for the rest works entirely on morphological and configurational patterns. The paper presents some of the results obtained within a research project aimed at developing ET (English Tutor), an intelligent tutoring system which supports Italian students in learning the English verbs. We concentrate on one of the most important modules of the system, the domain (i.e. verb) expert which is devoted to generate, in a cognitively transparent way, the right tense for the verb(s) appearing in the exercises presented to the student. Recent empirical research has shown conclusive advantages of multimodal interaction over speech-only interaction for mapbased tasks. This paper describes a multimodal language processing architecture which supports interfaces allowing simultaneous input from speech and gesture recognition. Integration of spoken and gestural input is driven by unification of typed feature structures representing the semantic contributions of the different modes.

This paper discusses research on distinguishing word meanings in the context of information retrieval systems. We conducted experiments with three sources of evidence for making these distinctions: morphology, part-of-speech, and phrases.
