This study explored the factors affecting members’ satisfaction with the quality of support activities of cooperatives using data collected from 301 members of horticultural cooperatives in Son La province. The study applied the SEVERQUAL concept and cooperative principles to develop the research model.

Distichochlamys citrea (DC) is an endemic ginger species used in treating associatedheart diseases in traditional medicine in Vietnam. However, scientific evidence to support the local use of this plant was limited. The present study aimed to investigate the antioxidant and antithrombotic activities of D. citrea extracts for the first time. The antioxidant activity of DC extracts was assessed by scavenging DPPH radical and measuring their total phenolic content (TPC). The antithrombotic activity was evaluated by inhibiting platelet aggregation and prolonging blood coagulation.

Understanding the tectonic mechanism generated by the earthquakes and faults is possible only if the preseismic, coseismic and postseismic crustal deformation related to the earthquakes is determined properly. The study was conducted in the state of Uttarakhand, with two purposively selected KVKs Dhakrani representing the plains region of Garhwal division and Bageshwarre presenting the hill region of Kumaon division. A simple random sampling technique was used to select 160 respondents from eight villages from both KVK.
