Due to its practicality, CSL is thus considered as one of the most useful supports for pre-service teachers and has gradually developed over the recent decades.

It is essential to support them in making the transfer from their own science study to becoming a science teacher in the elementary grades. Many teaching strategies and the pedagogy learned in this course are transferable to teaching at elementary grades. The study outlined the supportive values of reflective practice within peer observation of teaching using multiple data sources over a 15-week course-Teaching Practice. Teacher trainees reported that the experience of observing and being observed provided them with better reflections on their teaching and even theories of teaching.

The purpose of this case study was to investigate online discussion as a means to promote critical reflection. The study was conducted during a semester-long graduate course on issues related to literacy instructional strategies. The participants in the study were four reading education candidates. During the semester they participated in online discussion about course readings and reflected on their own teaching experiences. The data sources were the online discussion postings, responses to questionnaires, and interviews.

The current model of youth accompaniment of teachers is based primarily on the interests of the class observation practice. But it is often criticized for its evaluative, administrative, stressful and not conducive to professionalization. Another alternative arises. Panelists from the Center for the Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction reviewed the literature for potential toxicities of HU. They concluded that HU does not cause a growth delay in children 5-15 years old . There were no data on the effects on subsequent generations following exposure of developing germ cells to HU in utero. Some evidence supported impaired spermatogenesis with use of HU. Although we identified six patients taking HU who developed leukemia, the evidence did not support causality.

It was at this point that Laurinda Santos Lobo, a rich heiress who hosted the city’s most celebrated artistic salons, decided to support concert performances of the composer’s works. In April 1921, at one of these concerts in which the fourth act of Izaht was played, he also presented some pieces with a ‘national’ theme for the first time: A Lenda do Caboclo, Viola and Sertão no Estio, works which included an elaboration of the rhythms of popular music. He made his purpose in composing ‘national’ pieces fully explicit in newspaper interviews.
