The significance of reliability and validity analysis on education supply chain management practices
Supply chain management practices (SCMP) have progressively emerged as a contingent factor in improving sustainable performance in universities. More and more organisations including the manufacturing and service sectors are making use of SCM to improve their performance. This study aims to develop an effective instrument to measure SCM practices with reliable predictors to enhance product quality and business performance in education industries in Malaysia.

Realizing the importance of knowledge management (KM) in improving the supply chain; KM is identified as one of the sustainable factors to educational achievement. The purpose of this study was to explore the knowledge management among principals and teachers in high performance schools in Malaysia. Information was gathered from six teachers and four principals from four different schools in Northern Malaysia.

Analysed the quantitative data by SPSS and the results show 2 factors affect the performance namely GSCM Benefits and Critical Success factor. Consumer safety contributed significantly in GSCM benefits while, high satisfaction of customers and business partners in SCs contributed significantly in critical success factor.

This empirical study employed structural equation modeling (SEM) to investigate the impact of sustainable practices on sustainable performance of higher education institutions. Firstly, the sustainable performance survey is designed to investigate its main influencing factors among the pool of constructs includes; economic, environment, social and top management support factors.

The paper "A review of sustainability model in manufacturing organization towards IR4.0 in Malaysia" reviews a sustainability model in manufacturing organization towards IR4.0 focusing on three main factors, which are continuous improvement, organizational culture and organizational sustainability. This review is based on the several general criterias, i.e. total quality management, strategy, development model, business performance measurement, teamwork, leadership and continuous improvement practices.

In addition to lean, universities have also the responsibility to protect the environment. As a matter of fact, lean and green practices, share the same objective - that is to reduce waste. However, studies on lean and green universities is rather scarce. Even though there are evidences that these two concepts can be integrated, the synergy between the two concepts has yet to be discovered. This paper will elaborate on how lean and green can be integrated and the potential benefits towards sustainable higher education institutions performances.
