In this study, we investigate using acrylic and acrylic-styrene emulsions as curing solution to enhance water resistance and prevent cracking in cement concrete surfaces. Our main objective is to investigate the possibilities of utilizing washing waste generated during the Rhomn & Haas factory - Dow Chemical Vietnam production process. This waste is currently being treated as solid even though it contains anywhere from 10 – 45 % solid content.

This article focuses on the social judgment theory and its application to examine consumer reactions to businesses. For businesses that apply green marketing strategies in their operations, consumer judgment has different characteristics, which moderates and alters the intention and behaviour of consuming green products. This study applied the documentary method, combining synthesis and evaluation to reveal that consumers often have psychological judgments about the reality of businesses that are implementing a sustainable development strategy.

This study examines the costs and benefits of traditional rice production as well as of different adaptation methods to saltwater intrusion in the Central Coastal region of Vietnam. Data is collected through a structured questionnaire at the farm household level, focus groups discussion and through key informant interviews. Our results indicate that traditional rice production becomes less profitable as the level of saltwater intrusion on the land plots increases.

his study examines what factors are the most significant in driving their intention to purchase the sustainable driven fast fashion products. This study adds to existing knowledge about sustainability by employing descriptive and exploratory research. Findings revealed that the consumers’ intention to purchase fast fashion goods are affected by a number of aspects. Environmental concerns and personal values were found influencing factors of consumers’ intention to purchase.

This thesis explores the problem of wasteful fashion consumption in light of the current need for individuals to develop a sustainable way of living. The Agenda 21 report from the Rio Earth Summit (1992) determined that sustainable consumption is an issue to be addressed in terms of resource conservation, waste reduction and a reduction of production pollutants. To date, in Australia, there are no policies or strategies in place to reduce wasteful consumption from the consumer’s perspective and it is this research and policy deficit that this thesis research addresses.
