This paper presents a 15-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC for using in biomedical processing systems. The segmentation degrees (the amount of bits in each divided capacitive sub-array) are optimized to minimize switching power and area based on linearity and matching requirements.

The paper "Global exponential stability of switched neutral systems with time-varying delays" deals with the problem of global exponential stability for a class of switched neutral systems with time-varying delays. Based on improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method combined with the Leibniz-Newton formula, linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) conditions are proposed for the exponential stability of the considered systems under arbitrary switching signal. A numerical example showing the effectiveness of our conditions is given.

This study focuses on a constrained consensus problem of heterogeneous linear multiagent systems with nonconvex input constraints and switching graphs. A distributed control algorithm with the time-varying gain is presented to ensure the control input of each agent to stay in a nonconvex set and make all agents reach to a common point.

The aim of the present paper is to give robust stability based on exponentially stable switched positive linear systems. Our theoretical analysis shows that if there exists a positive stable system of all positive subsystems, then a lower bound and upper bound for stability radius of the switched system under positive affine perturbations are established.

This paper is concerned with the stabilization problem via state-feedback control of discrete-time jumping systems with stochastic multiplicative noises. The jumping process of the system is driven by a discrete-time Markov chain with finite states and partially known transition probabilities. Sufficient conditions are established in terms of tractable linear matrix inequalities to design a mode-dependent stabilizing state-feedback controller. A numerical example is provided to validate the effectiveness of the obtained result.

In this study, first we show the role of nonlinear state space equations in modeling the standard TS, a suitable transformation is then devised to convert this model to linear switching state space (LS3) equations with nonlinear constraints, and then the most important aspects of a control-based system – the stability, controllability, observability and stabilizability – for the proposed method is analytically proven.

In this paper, the index-1 notion for arbitrarily switched discrete-time linear singular systems (SDLS) has been introduced. Based on the Bohl exponents of SDLS as well as properties of associated positive switched systems, some necessary and sufficient conditions have been established for exponential stability.

Stability analysis of switched multiple nonlinear discrete systems with interval time varying delays
This paper deals with the problem of asymptotic stability for a class of switched nonlineardiscrete systems with time-varying delay. The time-varying delay is assumed to be belong to a given interval in which the lower bound of delay is not restricted to zero. A linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach to asymptotic stability of the system is presented. Based on the Lyapunov functional, delay-depenent criteria for the asymptotic stability of the system are established via linear matrix inequalities.

Nowadays we assist to the increasing of devices and equipments connected to power systems (non-linear loads, industrial rectifiers and inverters, solid-state switching devices, computers, peripheral devices etc). Hence, the parameters of the power supply should be accurately estimated and monitorized. For this purpose have been proposed power quality monitoring systems that are abble to automatically detect and classify disturbances.

1. STEPPER MOTOR SYSTEMS OVERVIEW Motion Control, in electronic terms, means to accurately control the movement of an object based on either speed, distance, load, inertia or a combination of all these factors. There are numerous types of motion control systems, including; Stepper Motor, Linear Step Motor, DC Brush, Brushless, Servo, Brushless Servo and more. This document will concentrate on Step Motor technology. In Theory, a Stepper motor is a marvel in simplicity. It has no brushes, or contacts.

This book is for anyone who would like to get a good overview of linear algebra in a relatively short amount of time. Those who will get the most out of The Manga Guide to Linear Algebra are: • University students about to take linear algebra, or those who are already taking the course and need a helping hand • Students who have taken linear algebra in the past but still don’t really understand what it’s all about

Until recently the applications of modern algebra were mainly confined to other branches of mathematics. However, the importance of modern algebra and dis- crete structures to many areas of science and technology is now growing rapidly. It is being used extensively in computing science, physics, chemistry, and data communication as well as in new areas of mathematics such as combinatorics. We believe that the fundamentals of these applications can now be taught at the junior level.
