
Synthesis of cobalt

In this study, spinel ferrite nanoparticles CoFe2-xLaxO4 (x = 0, 0.025, and 0.05) were successfully synthesized via a simple co-precipitation method using a 5% NaOH solution as a precipitating agent. The physicochemical properties of the materials, annealed at 850 °C for one hour, were characterized using powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and vibrating-sample magnetometry (VSM) at room temperature.

The present paper summaries the results from uniaxial-tension stress-controlled fatigue tests performed at different temperatures up to 650°C on Cu-Be specimens. Two geometries are considered: hourglass shaped and plates weakened by a central hole (Cu-Be alloy).

The synthesis, structural identification of four novel cobalt and ironbased metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), named VNU-10 (cobalt-based MOF), VNU-15 (iron-based MOF, VNU = Vietnam National University), Fe-NH2-BDC and Fe-BTC have been done by single crystal x-ray diffraction. Full characterization and application of VNU-10, VNU-15 were undertaken, while preliminary characterizations have been done for Fe-NH2-BDC and Fe-BTC.

We developed the synthesis of the caged oxygen donor (l-peroxo)(l-hydroxo)bis[bis(bipyridyl)cobalt(III)] complex (HPBC) as nitrate salt,which has,compared with the perchlorate-form described previously [MacArthur,R., Sucheta,A.,Chong,F.F. & Einarsdottir,O¨ . Now,the quantum efficiency of the photolytical release of dioxygenwas determined tobe 0.4 per photon at a laser wavelength of 308 nm,which was used to observe biological reactions....
