In this study, two gelling agents, PVA and tartaric acid, were combined. The addition of tartaric acid to the reaction mixture enhanced its complexation ability, provided additional heat, reduced the concentration of PVA, and lowered the synthesis temperature of the material.

In this work, the rGO/polyacrylic acid (rGO/PAA) composite film was synthesized using the 3D direct ink writing technique with GO/acrylic acid (GO/AA) ink and UV irradiation. Results show that after a UV irradiation time of 3.6 seconds, GO was reduced into rGO, and AA was polymerized into PAA.

The electrocatalytic conversion of carbon dioxide (CO2) into valuable chemicals presents a promising strategy for closing the carbon cycle. In this study, we synthesized zinc (Zn) catalysts through hydrothermal methods using either polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) or cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as stabilizing agents. These catalysts proved highly efficient in converting CO2 into carbon monoxide (CO).

The study described the preparation of composite material through the dispersion of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) decorated with silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) in the matrix of blending natural rubber (NR) and polyethylene (PE) for use as an antibacterial agent. The FESEM results indicated the uniform and defect-free surface of the synthesized composites.

In this work, SrFe12O19 samples were synthesized by hydrothermal method. We systematically studied the influence of an alkaline environment (NaOH) with the molar ratio (R) of 2 , 3 and 4 on the structure, magnetic properties of SrFe12O19 particles prepared by hydrothermal method. The relation between morphology, magnetic properties and microwave absorption properties of materials have been investigated.

In this paper, imidazole-based ionic liquids were synthesized by alkylation of imidazole derivatives using 1-bromohexadecane. The anti-corrosion properties of the material were evaluated using the weight method and potentiodynamic polarization method. Results showed that the synthesized ILs are good corrosion inhibitor for CT3 steel.

In this study, the B/ZnO materials were simply synthesized via a Sol-gel method. The photocatalytic ability of materials was evaluated by degrading tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH). In this research, a single-step polymeric novel particle was synthesized from oak bark extract by nanoemulsion polymerization technique for the first time in the literature. It has been shown that the synthesized particles are achieved without losing any antioxidant and antibacterial properties of the oak bark extract. In this study, a simple technique combining conventional electrospinning and facile gas–solid reaction for fabricating PAN/Ag2S nanofibers was presented and tested. The obtained fibers would have excellent properties such as the flexibility of PAN nanofibers and efficient photocatalysis of the Ag2S nanoshells under visible light. The photocatalytic elimination of RhB in water was used to evaluate the activity and application of the synthesized material under visible light irradiation.
