The job performance of clinicians is a clear indicator of both hospital capacity and the level of hospital service. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the effectiveness and quality of medical care. Clinical pathways are a systematic method of quality improvement successfully recommended by broader healthcare systems. Since clinicians play a key role in implementing clinical pathways in public hospitals, this study aims to investigate the effect of the satisfaction of clinicians in public hospitals with clinical pathway implementation on their job performance.

Managerial Evidence-Based Decision-Making [EBDM] in the primary is a systematic approach that directs the decision-maker in a conscientious, explicit, and judicious utilization of reliable and best evidence based on the professional experiences and preferences of stakeholders and patients from various sources. This study aimed to investigate the challenges primary healthcare managers encounter while undertaking decision-making processes.

This paper presents the results of a systematic review to identify practical strategies to create the institutions, skills, values, and norms that will improve health systems resilience. Methods A PRISMA 2020 compliant systematic review identified peer-reviewed and gray literature on practical strategies to make health systems more resilient. Investigators screened 970 papers to identify 65 English language papers published since 2015.

Patients with rheumatologic preexisting autoimmune disease (PAD) have not been enrolled in clinical trials of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). Therefore, the risks and benefits of ICI therapy in such patients are unclear. Herein, we investigated the safety and efficacy of ICIs in rheumatologic PAD patients through a meta-analysis.

Pneumonia and lung cancer are both major respiratory diseases, and observational studies have explored the association between their susceptibility. However, due to the presence of potential confounders and reverse causality, the comprehensive causal relationships between pneumonia and lung cancer require further exploration.

Despite the existence of numerous studies investigating the diagnostic potential of blood microRNAs for colorectal cancer, the microRNAs under consideration vary widely, and comparative analysis of their diagnostic value is lacking. Consequently, this systematic review aims to identify the most effective microRNA blood tumor markers to enhance clinical decision-making in colorectal cancer screening.

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections is an important public health problem worldwide and closely affect extrahepatic cancer. Several recent studies have investigated the relationship between HBV infection and head and neck cancer (HNC), but their findings were inconsistent. In order to address the limitations of small sample sizes, we conducted a meta-analysis to assess the association between HBV and HNC.

The magnetic properties of core/shell nanoparticles (NPs) depend on the various parameters, including the magnetic interactions, but these effects have not been well studied. Here, we systematically investigated the structure and magnetic properties of Fe3O4@CoFe2O4 core/shell NPs. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) confirmed the formation of Fe3O4@CoFe2O4 core/shell NPs.

In this work, SrFe12O19 samples were synthesized by hydrothermal method. We systematically studied the influence of an alkaline environment (NaOH) with the molar ratio (R) of 2 , 3 and 4 on the structure, magnetic properties of SrFe12O19 particles prepared by hydrothermal method. The relation between morphology, magnetic properties and microwave absorption properties of materials have been investigated.

The plasmon characterization of AgNS on paper was systematically investigated by the diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The fabricated paper-based SERS substrates were used to detect melamine in an aqueous solution and to determine the influence of type RAs on the enhancement factor (EF) and signal uniformity of SERS substrates. Among the four types of RAs, the SERS substrates used NaBH4 have the highest SERS signal with the limit of detection of 10-8 M for melamine and the EF = 2.3 × 109 .

The genetic origins of chemotherapy resistance are well established; however, the role of epigenetics in drug resistance is less well understood. To investigate mechanisms of drug resistance, we performed systematic genetic, epigenetic, and transcriptomic analyses of an alkylating agent-sensitive murine lymphoma cell line and a series of resistant lines derived by drug dose escalation.

Imiquimod (IMQ) produces a cutaneous phenotype in mice frequently studied as an acute model of human psoriasis. Whether this phenotype depends on strain or sex has never been systematically investigated on a large scale. Such effects, however, could lead to conflicts among studies, while further impacting study outcomes and efforts to translate research findings.

Multimorbidities greatly increase the global health burdens, but the landscapes of their genetic risks have not been systematically investigated. Methods: We used the hospital inpatient data of 385,335 patients in the UK Biobank to investigate the multimorbid relations among 439 common diseases. Post-GWAS analyses were performed to identify multimorbidity shared genetic risks at the genomic loci, network, as well as overall genetic architecture levels.
