Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Viet Nam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration (VNMHA) have implemented a technical cooperation project entitled “Project for Strengthening Capacity in Weather Forecasting and Flood Early Warning System” for more than 5 years from May 2018. This study was conducted to investigate the residual of Chlorpyrifos (CPF) in coffee growing soil at Lam Ha district, Lam Dong province. Fifteen soil samples were collected from coffee intensive gardens in the Phi To, Nam Ha, Me Linh and Dong Thanh communes of Lam Ha district during the February 2023.

In this paper, several IAA farming systems practiced in Vietnam are described, and their impacts are also reviewed. It is speculated that in developing countries like Vietnam, the IAA farming system should be targeted for support as a sustainable food safety model and a form of ecosystem-based technology to reduce environmental impacts, adapt to climate change, help avoid risks from market fluctuation, and increase incomes in comparison with monoculture farming.

Many environmental factors have been reported to be associated with the risk of developing multiple sclerosis (MS), such as lack of exposure to sunlight, vitamin D deficiency, obesity, smoking, and infectious mononucleosis. Vitamin D deficiency has been shown to play a role in immune system function and may increase the risk of developing MS, although there are many confounding factors and inconsistent results. In this report, we evaluated vitamin D levels in newly diagnosed MS patients to determine the need for vitamin D supplementation.

This research presents a method for the identification of hazardous situations on the freeways as well as the hazard mitigation system based on the identification. The hazard identification is done using a crash risk probability model and based on the identification, mitigation strategy is employed to reduce the effect of the hazard. For this study, about 18 km long section of Eastern Freeway in Melbourne, Australia is selected as a test bed.

The objective of this thesis was to investigate the development of a micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) which can be implanted in the eye to provide continuous monitoring of glaucoma conditions. Current glaucoma monitoring involves taking laboratory based intra ocular pressure (IOP) measurements. The ESR1 gene encodes Estrogen Receptor alpha (ERα), which plays a role in the tumourigenesis of breast cancer.
