Techno - economic feasibility

In this paper, analyses are conducted in order to investigate to which extent and way the absorption capacity of the power system from RES electricity can be improved. As an effective approach of implementing wind power, fostering the accommodation of renewable energy sources, especially on large-scale, a detailed techno-economic analysis of the 164 MW installed grid-connected wind farm, considered as a potential source, Korça district is analyzed.

Drying is an important post-harvest preservation technique of spices. As drying is an energy intensive process, accessibility to good drying methods is essential for the economical betterment of the farmers. Solar energy based drying techniques offer better return on investment to farmers. Developed hybrid solar drying system can be used for drying various agricultural products like spices, fruits and vegetables. The dryer has been coupled to an electric air heater having an auto controlling facility and blackened surface of absorber for improved drying efficiency.

The agriculture sector nowadays in Palestine relies mostly on conventional energy sources and traditional irrigation ways. Considering some factors such as high costs of fossil fuels and providing new electrical network, especially to remote areas and where grid electricity is either inaccessible or expensive to expand, therefore a solar photovoltaic (PV) powered irrigation system can be a practical choice for irrigating.

The main objective of this analysis was to study on Techno-Economic Feasibility for Production of Extruded Snacks prepared by rice, ashwagandha and spinach powder. In order to determine the techno-economic feasibility three economic parameters i.e. break even quantity, break even sales and break even period were analysed.
