The 2-methyl-4-nitroaniline (NA) was converted into the raw material N-benzyl-2-methyl-4-nitroaniline (BNA), and the solubility of BNA in various organic solvents was calculated gravimetrically. BNA’s solubility and crystal structure make it an excellent solvent for the low-temperature solution growth method used to create single crystals of BNA with orthorhombic structure studied through single crystal analysis.

In this work, we carried out a study on NiTiO3 nanomaterial synthesized via citrategel method. The structural characteristics were determined by basic X-ray diffraction analysis. SEM analysis showed the surface morphology of the sample. The impedance spectra analysis was used to elucidate the dependence of complex impedance values on temperature and frequency.

Comprehensive ex-situ and in-situ investigations of thermal curing processes in spin-on ultra-low-k thin films conducted by positron annihilation spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopies are presented. Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy of ex-situ cured samples reveals an onset of the curing process at about 200 ◦C, which advances with increasing curing temperature.

Traditional ceramic technology combined with a two-step sintering technique has been applied to prepare 0.96(K0.48Na0.48Li0.04)(Nb0.95Sb0.05)O3-0.04Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5ZrO3 (KNLNS-BNKZ) piezoelectric ceramics. The experimental results show that the ceramic samples have a pure perovskite structure with the coexistence of tetragonal and rhombohedral phases.

Layers of ethylene carbonate (EC) modified CuI/PVA polymer composites were prepared by growth of CuI nano-particles in an aqueous solution of PVA followed by casting at room temperature. The structural, thermal, optical, electrical and di-electrical characterization of polymer composites was investigated using different techniques. These investigations confirm the growth of CuI nano-particles and reduction of PVA crystallinity by increasing ethylene carbonate concentration.

A solid polymer electrolyte system based on poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and poly(3,4-Etylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) complexed with magnesium bromide (MgBr2) salt was prepared using solution cast technique. The ionic conductivity is observed to increase with increasing MgBr2 concentration. The maximum conductivity was found to be 9.89 • 106 S/cm for optimum polymer composite film (30 wt.% MgBr2) at room temperature. The increase in the conductivity is attributed to the increase in the number of ions as the salt concentration is increased.

Different composition of composite material of zirconium dioxide co-doped with magnesium oxide [MgO (x)] and calcium oxide [CaO(y)] according to the general molecular formula {1 (x + y)}ZrO2-(x)MgO-(y) CaO were prepared by co-precipitation method and characterized by different techniques, such as XRD, FTIR, TG-DTA, and SEM. Co-doping was conducted to enhance the ionic conductivity, as mixed system show higher conductivity than the single doped one.

Typical quantities of the electronic structure and spin-transition of this molecule such as the atomic charge, the magnetic moment of Fe ion, the HOMO-LUMO gap, and the spin-state energy difference are varied as a function of dielectric constant of solvents. They reach saturation values with increasing dielectric constant. These results should give some hints to control spin transition temperature of spin-crossover molecules.
