Terminal cuttings

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of rooting media and Indole-3-butyric acid treatments on guava terminal cuttings cv Taiwan pink. The treatments comprised of three types of rooting media i.e., coco peat, vermiculite and saw dust and six concentrations of Indole-3-butyric acid i.e., 250 ppm, 500 ppm, 750 ppm in solution form and 1500 ppm, 3000 ppm and 6000 ppm in powdered form.

You can split a large group into small teams each responsible for one aspect of the villa – the buildings, the roofs, the courtyard. To extend the activity, include cut-away rooms showing internal details such as mosaics and wall paintings. You can spread this activity over more than one session by making all the parts in session one and building in session two. Further sessions could include making mosaic floor (using the Make a Marvellous Mosaic pack) or making mini Romans to live in the villa - you can use Eric for inspiration.

The first crop grown in that rejuvenated topsoil was clover. The organism development in that soil must have been awesome, because the plants showed no interest in terminating growth—reaching 12 feet in length when autumn’s cold called a halt. Initial attempts to disk that clover back into the soil failed when the stalks proved too thick to cut. The writer is not exaggerating. The clover root systems were no doubt massive as well.
