The air interface

The paper conceptualizes rurbanization to bridge the gap in the research that emanates from the propensity of urban megapolises to create clutter, which results in degraded ecology, air pollution, health hazards, lower quality of life, gender inequity, and vulnerability to natural disasters. This has exacerbated during the current global pandemic. As de-covidating initiatives are unleashed, the energy access would need appropriate and manageable scale. Urbanization cannot be sustained without a robust rural interface.

The surface treatment by physical method of jute fiber using air plasma was investigated. Fiber was treated by the atmospheric plasma with various conditions of power 50W and different treatment times (from 1 min to 7 min). After treatment, the characteristics of fiber changed remarkably and fiber surface observed by SEM analyze showed a better morphology for adhesion. The result showed that tensile strength and Young’s modulus of jute fiber were slightly improved, however there was a remarkable improvement interface adhesion between fibers and polypropylene (PP) resin.

TOWARDS ‘ALL IP’ AND SOME CONCLUDING REMARKS This concluding chapter provides first an introduction to some of the planned release 5 enhancements to UMTS and the GPRS/EDGE RAN (GERAN). These can be seen as the first step towards ‘all IP’. The challenges when having to deliver real-time IP services over an air interface, in particular voice over IP services, are summarised and possible solutions to achieve spectrum efficiencies similar to those of optimised cellular voice services are outlined.
