-
Health protocols need to be guided by current data on survival and benefits of interventions within the local context. Periodic clinical audits are required to inform and update health care protocols. This study aimed to review morbidity and mortality in very low birth weight (VLBW) infants in 2013 compared with similar data from 2006/2007.

The high level of technical knowledge required resulted in the birth of the computer auditor.

Our sample can be split between economies where the central bank is responsible for banking supervision (25 economies) and jurisdictions where this responsibility is either shared or falls wholly to another supervisory authority (21 economies). Banking supervision is the responsibility of the central bank in countries such as Israel and New Zealand, but is outside the central bank in Australia, China, Ireland and the UK.
