The charge comparison

In this article, algorithm for digital implementation of the charge-comparison method for n/γ discrimination based on digital signal processing technique is described. The development of an FPGA based digital signal processing system has been undertaken for this application.

In the study "Comparison of determining the 10B and 6Li depth profiles based on NDP and SIMS analytical methods" the comparison of the analytical results between SIMS (Secondary-ion mass spectrometry) and NDP (Neutron Depth Profiling) methods have been carried out with LiCoO2 and BSi samples. The NDP is an analytical method to analyze the component nuclide concentration versus depth distribution in a sample by detecting the charged particles emitted after the neutrons are absorbed.

The purpose of this study was to compare the adsorption behavior of cationic and anionic dyes onto a hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) nanostructure that was rich in a negative charge. Herein, the hBN nanostructure was synthesized using boric acid as a precursor material. The characteristic peaks of the hBN nanostructure were performed using Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and Raman spectroscopies. The morphology and the particle size of hBN nanostructure were determined by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

This study aims at identifying the characteristics of Myanmar container terminals through a comparative analysis with Vietnamese seaports, which benefit stakeholders in both countries and other maritime nations in the region. From a literature review, we define the comparison framework of five dimensions, i.e. port infrastructure, port connectivity, port management, port operation and port charge. The conclusion and recommendation for container port development in are given accordingly from the perspective stakeholders in Myanmar.

MNOs have grabbed the unbanked market including the rural areas that traditional banks have failed to access, traditional banks have been experiencing a decrease in the level of activity, including liquidity shortages, low deposits and limited credit availability. The MNOs have lower charges for transacting, and offer more convenience and accessibility as opposed to traditional banks. The ability discrimination of neutrons/gamma-rays of the detector was evaluated by the charge comparison (CC) method using an 252Cf source. The total efficiencies when measured on 22Na, 137Cs, 60Co and 252Cf sources were obtained 17.8%, 3.9%, 9.8% and 14.8%, respectively. The Figure of Merit (FoM) values of CC method were 0.4–1.55 for the range of energy 50–1000 keVee (keV electron equivalent).

In this paper, the formulation of theories extended by an additional Abelian gauge symmetry in the superfield formalism is presented. By rotating in the space of the gauge fields, the gauge kinetic mixing term can be eliminated, and the relevant charge and coupling are shifted in comparison with the original quantities. We demonstrate, for example, the effect of the gauge kinetic mixing term in the case of the U(1) extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model.

Comparison of the crystal structures of threeMicropechis ikahekaphos-pholipase A2 isoenzymes (MiPLA2, MiPLA3 and MiPLA4, which exhibit different levels of pharmacological effects) shows that their C-terminus (residues 110–124) is the most variable.
