The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility of establishing descriptive evaluation and its use in secondary school from the perspective of secondary school’s teachers in Hamadan. Basically, in order to evaluate the achievement of students in schools, used two methods of quantitative evaluation and descriptive evaluation. The quantitative evaluation follows the principles of classical psychology and behaviorism, while the descriptive evaluation follows the principles of constructivist psychology. The method of this research is descriptive and survey type.

A fast and efficient method for the synthesis of naphthopyranopyrimidinones derivatives in excellent yields was developed through cyclocondensation reaction between previously prepared pyrimidinic hydrazides and some electrophilic species such as 2,4-pentanedione, 2,5-hexanedione, cyclic anhydrides, and phenylthioisocyanate under microwave irradiation. Compared to the conventional methods applied, it was found that better yields and shorter reaction times were achieved using microwave-assisted synthesis.

The dataset used in this study is the Maui 3D seismic volume from Taranaki basin, offshore New Zealand. A stack of 400 continuous stratigraphic horizons is produced from the Maui RGT model, even for complex areas where classical methods failed to achieve or would take a long time to complete. Integrated with seismic attribute mappings such as RMS amplitude and/or spectral decomposition, the horizon stack enables to navigate the seismic volume in stratigraphic order.

Orthogonal moments are used to represent digital images with minimum redundancy. Orthogonal moments with fractional-orders show better capabilities in digital image analysis than integer-order moments. In this work, the authors present new fractional-order shifted Gegenbauer polynomials. These new polynomials are used to define a novel set of orthogonal fractional-order shifted Gegenbauer moments (FrSGMs). The proposed method is applied in gray-scale image analysis and recognition.

We have developed two esterification strategies for a challenging coupling between camphoric acid and solanesol to achieve a hybrid natural product - solanesyl camphorate.
