The critical angle

This paper has developed an MPI intake manifold model and investigated fuel injector angles using a multiphase CFD package provided by FloEFD software. A wide range of injector angles from 22 to 30 degrees has been investigated in order to evaluate the influence of the injector angle on the wall-wetting issue, a critical problem of manifold injection systems in SI engines.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are common and persistent environmental pollutants produced during the incomplete combustion of fuels. They are known for their carcinogenic and mutagenic properties. Thus, their removal from water bodies is highly crucial and has become a critical issue globally. As a solution, here an electrospun polycaprolactone (PCL) membrane with a mean fiber diameter of 2.74 ± 1.3 μm was produced by electrospinning. Water contact angle (WCA) analysis confirmed the hydrophobic nature of the PCL membrane with a WCA of 124°, which remained stable over time.

This paper determines a suitable opening angle of the hydraulic support legs of M46-130 mm self-propelled artillery. It is a combination of M46-130 mm field gun, mounted on KrAZ-255B 6x6 military truck chassis. Based on results of investigating the changes of forces and moments acting on artillery system in static condition when changing the opening angle of hydraulic support legs at critical fire angles, a suitable angle is selected at ψ = 400 and γ = 200 . From that angle, this paper shows a table consists of geometric parameters, forces and moments acting on system.
