Combined systems for wastewater treatment and resource recovery have been developed in many countries. However, systems for energy generation are still underdeveloped. This research was conducted to evaluate the possibility of electric potential generation from wastewater using a microbial fuel cell system (MFC).

In this study, a lab-scale experiment was conducted to test the electricity consumption in applying different design approaches; the energy efficiency of the system was calculated.

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the green microwave technique in producing 1T/2H-MoS2 nanomaterials using polyol solvents. The paper presents a thorough analysis of the structural and property characteristics of the synthesized materials and elucidates the underlying chemical mechanism that governs the formation of hybrid-phase nanostructures. Additionally, the role of polyol solvents in the practical synthesis of nano MoS2 under microwave heating is evaluated and explained.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Electronic word of mouth through social networking platforms on purchase intention of Vietnamese customers in cosmetics field. To conduct the study, the author built up five hypotheses based on the previous studies about EWOM. The outcomes obtained from the data analysis have made the picture clearer when among different factors of eWOM, the quality of eWOM information, the attitude of eWOM information regarding cosmetics have positive impact on cosmetic purchase intention of Vietnamese customers.

This dissertation aims to investigate the electrical impedance properties of fruits and vegetables, and explore the relationship between impedance and quality criteria. In particular, the present dissertation outlines experimental research conducted on relationships between impedance properties and fruit tastes as well as the impedance changes observed during ripening process. Impedance measurement to monitor moisture content changes in the progress of drying is also included in this research.

In parallel with these results, the diagrams of Gibbs et al. supported the same seawater intrusion phenomena. Brackish karst springs first roseand then fell below sea level with epirogenic movements during the geological period, and therefore, karstification progressed. The samples were oversaturated with calcite, dolomite, and quartz, whereas they were undersaturated with gypsum and halite. The Al, Cu, and Zn values of some of the water samples exceeded the tolerance limit of aquatic life standards.

Before this earthquake, water resources were monitored in the areas of Bayraklı, Gülbahçe, and Seferihisar. For this purpose, 10 groundwater monitoring wells were drilled in the Bayraklı area, where groundwater level, temperature, and electrical conductivity changes were monitored at 1-h intervals in 5 wells. Besides physical parameters such as groundwater levels, temperatures and electrical conductivities, hydrogeochemical cations, and anions measured in the study area. Change in the groundwater levels was observed before, during, and after the Samos earthquake.

Batch-type laboratory reactivity experiments and mo delling of hydrogeochemical interactions of a granite-scCO2-water system were conducted at 100 °C and 10 MPa in order to evaluate the geochemical and mineralogical responses of the granite to long-term reaction. The laboratory reactivity tests were conducted for a to t l duration of 70 days, and the continued hydrogeochemical interactions for up to 210 days we re determined by geochemical simulations.

In this work, in the framework of density functional theory, we study the electronic thermal conductivity of the compound by employing the solution of Boltzmann Transport Equation in a constant relaxationtime approximation. The results show that the electronic thermal conductivity drastically increases with the increase of temperature and carrier concentration which have a detrimental effect on the thermoelectric performance.

Lentic systems are a diverse set of inland freshwater habitats (Lakes and ponds) exist across the globe and provide essential resources and habitats for both terrestrial and aquatic organisms. The current work was intended to evaluate the quality of the selected ponds (Pond 1, 2 and 3) in and around Vellore district, TamilNadu. One of the easiest and efficient way of water conservation to solve drinking water scarcity is rooftop water harvesting. To evaluate the performance of the first flush with micromesh filter system, inflow and outflow of the rooftop water samples were analysed for pH, EC, TDS, SAL and TSS parameters. In general, the PH, electrical conductivity, and TDS of the roof water samples were within the drinking water standards and the first flush with micromesh filter system was found to reduce TDS values.
