This article reports on research into the problems that non-English major freshmen at Quy Nhon University face when they lose interest in learning English speaking skills. The subjects were 200 first-year non-English majors belonging to non-English majors such as Economics, Accounting, Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Food Technology, and Construction Engineering etc. at Quy Nhon University.

In the present study, cooling of PV module using a paraffin-based phase change material (PCM) in hot climate of Vietnam is investigated. Thermal modelling is first validated against experimental data reported in literature and then transient thermal simulations are carried out for a duration of 24 hours to assess the effect of PCM itself and PCM with internal fins.

The focus of this thesis was to study the chemotaxonomic relationship of selected southern Australian marine brown algae of the genera Cystophora and Sargassum. Consequently, this resulted in the isolation and structure elucidation of six new terpenoids from two southern Australian marine brown algae Cystophora moniliformis and Sargassum fallax together with 10 previously reported natural products. As a result of the re-isolation of these known secondary metabolites, updated and complete structural characterisation data could be provided for the first time for 7 of these compounds.

This thesis examines the strategic and potentially legitimising nature of voluntary environmental reporting. The first report of pestalotiopsis sp. causing crown rot disease on strawberries in Dalat. Study on the pathogens causing strawberries crown rot disease was complied with the methodology of Koch. Results from isolating 150 samples of infected plant parts collected from three strawberry cultivated areas in Dalat (Ward 7, Ward 8 and Ward 12) indicated that there were 327 isolates belonging to six fungal species.

For the biosynthesis of punicic acid (18:3 D9Z,11E,13Z )a (11,14)-linoleoyl desaturase activity has been proposed. To isolate this acyl-lipid-desaturase, PCR-based cloning was used. This approach resulted in the isolationof twocomplete cDNAs. The first isolated full-length cDNA harbors a sequence of 1350 bp encoding a protein of 395 amino acids. The second cDNA was 1415 bp long encoding a protein of 387 amino acids.
