The phase transformation

The single phase of Mn0.5Fe2.5O4 spinel crystals was prepared by the microemulsion method with the oil phase is DGDE (diethylene glycol diethyl ether). The characteristics of the materials have been determined by the X-ray diffraction (XRD), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Brunaure-Emmet-Teller (BET) nitrogen adsorption and desorption, Vibration sampling magnetometer (VSM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).

This dissertation "Fact, Fiction and Folk Horror: A Cross-Genre Experiment in Music Biopic Screenwriting" is bifurcated, to highlight the transformation of the screenplay from its conventional original form to its unconventional re-visioned form: Part One is the diagnostic phase; Part Two is remedial. Or, in keeping with the project’s horrorcentricity, it is perhaps fitting to describe Part One as a forensic autopsy of a deceased screenwriting project – albeit one possessing the ability to haunt its creator from the grave – and Part Two as an account of my attempts to resurrect it.

In the present paper, we reported the influence of the crystallization time on the crystallinity of the Fe-mordenite zeolite (Fe- MOR). The obtained results showed that, in order to reach the high crystallinity of zeolite the optimal duration of crystallization was about 36 h.

In this paper, a feasibility study concerning the generation of tensile specimens using a quenching dilatometer is presented. The ODS steel investigated contains 9%Cr and exhibits a phase transformation between ferrite and austenite around 870 °C.

Studying of formation cordierite phase in fire processing mixture kaolinite and Mg(OH)2 from room temperature to 1350o C. The results of XRD shown that the starting powder transformed to intermediates phases saphirine-mullite in the range of 1100 - 1200o C, then crystallized to monophase cordierite in the range of 1250 - 1350o C.

Porous hydroxyapatite ceramic was synthesized by solid phase method using Ca(OH)2 and Ca3(PO4)2 at the temperature interval 200 - 350o C. The samples, after pelleting and sintering, were characterized by X-ray diffractometry (XRD), Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). Porous structure of hydroxyapatite was obtained with the 42 – 55% porosity.

The interaction of bacterial endotoxins [lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and the
endotoxic principle lipid A], with high-den-sity lipoprotein (HDL) from serum was investigated with a variety of physical techniques and biological assays. HDL exhibited an increase in the gel to liquid crystalline phase transition temperature Tc and a rigidification of the acyl chains of the endotoxins as measured by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and differential scanningcalorimetry.

We have compared the site-by-siteN-glycosylation status of human lactoferrin (Lf) produced in maize, a monocotyle-don, and in tobacco, usedas amodel dicotyledon.Maizeand tobacco plants were stably transformed and recombinant Lf was purified from both seeds and leaves. N-glycopeptides were generated by trypsin digestion of recombinant Lf and purified by reverse-phase HPLC. The N-glycosylation pat-tern of each site was determined by mass spectrometry. Our results indicated that the N-glycosylation patterns of recombinant Lf produced in maize and tobacco share common structural features....

Licensing origins for replication upon completion of mitosis ensures genomic stability in cycling cells. Cdt1 was recently discovered as an essential licensing factor, which is inhibited by geminin. Over-expression of Cdt1 was shown to predis-pose cells for malignant transformation. We show here that Cdt1 is down-regulated at both the protein and RNA level when primary human fibroblasts exit the cell cycle into G0, and its expression is induced as cells re-enter the cell cycle, prior to S phase onset. ...
