The provision of quality service

In the quest for quality antenatal care (ANC) and positive pregnancy experience, the value of comprehensive woman hand-held case notes cannot be emphasised enough. However, the woman’s health passport book in Malawi presents gaps which hinder provision of quality care, especially during pregnancy. We aimed to develop a compressive updated woman hand-held case notes tool (health passport book) which reflects WHO 2016 ANC guidelines in Malawi.

This article identifies the factors that affect the auditor independence in financial statements audit in Vietnam at present, so there are some suggestions to improve the quality of financial statements audit. Using a questionnaire instrument, Viet Nam interested parties’ perceptions of the influence on auditor independence of a large set of 26 factors are elicited. Most factors have a significant influence on independence perceptions for all groups.

Unsafe abortion remains a reality for many Ethiopian women and will remain so until safe abortion is more accessible across the country. The house of representatives of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) revised the abortion law and Ministry of Health (MoH) of FDRE developed a revised technical and procedural guideline for safe abortion services in Ethiopia; emphasizing the need to increase knowledge and practice of health service providers on safe abortion care (SAC) and access to safe terminations of pregnancy at high standard and quality.
