In this study, we assessed the validity and measurement invariance of the Turkish adaptation of the Student Personal Perception of Classroom Climate Scale (SPPCC) developed in English (US). Confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) and measurement invariance (MI) analyses by sex were performed on 629 students’ data. CFA results confirmed the factorial structure of the SPPCC.

This study contributes to the literature by applying a duality approach to confirm the significant role of shopping values in determining trust and impulse buying that, in turn, positively predict shopping well-being. As a result, this study provides a deeper understanding about if and why online shopping well-being is more affect-based. This research also introduces an appropriate theoretical framework for studying impulse buying - the duality approach and validates the positive consequence of this shopping motive.

The work proposes a synthesis method of capacitive fractional-order impedance element which is composed of homogenous distributed resistive-capacitive (RC) structures (lines). The method employs genetic algorithm and searches for optimal connection schemes and parameters of the partial RC structures. The synthesis algorithm is described in detail including the coding of the properties of the structures for the purpose of the genetic algorithm. The user interface of the design tool is introduced and the input and output parameters of the synthesis are explained.

Basic analyses were conducted upon an existing headlamp, and the validity of the analytical model was verified by testing existing reflector temperatures under conditions similar to those modeled during the analyses. Based on this verification, three types of radiating fins were modeled and analyzed. The vertical fin type exhibited the highest heat dissipation performance. The mathematical relationship between the machining parameters and the performance characteristics was formulated by using a linear regression model with interactions. Optimal levels of parametric combination for achieving the higher surface quality with maximum productivity were selected by grey relational analysis which is based on the high value of grey relational grade. Confirmation experiments were carried out to prove the powerful improvement of experimental results and to validate the effectiveness of the multi-optimization technique applied in this paper.

A total of 360 pig carcasses were examined through meat inspection in different market places of Dimapur and Kohima district of Nagaland, India in the month of March, 2019. Out of which, 6 (1.67%) were found positive for porcine cysticercosis with visible cysts. The serum samples were collected from 300 pigs and out of which 10 (3.00%) serum samples were found positive for Cysticercus cellulosae antibody. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay was performed to confirm Cysticercus cellulosae and to validate the results of meat inspection.

In the present study, to assess the efficiency of previously reported SCAR 4 marker for marker assisted selection was validated by screening the marker in a total of 226 F2 mapping population derived from a cross between male sterile (IIHR10521AB) and a male fertile pure line (IIHRMY7) maintained at IIHR along with bulk segregant analysis.

In this article, numerical study for the fractional Cable equation which is fundamental equations for modeling neuronal dynamics is introduced by using weighted average of finite difference methods. The stability analysis of the proposed methods is given by a recently proposed procedure similar to the standard John von Neumann stability analysis. A simple and an accurate stability criterion valid for different discretization schemes of the fractional derivative and arbitrary weight factor is introduced and checked numerically.

The picture of the market that results from our experiments, surprisingly, confirms both the efficient- market academic view and the traders’ view. But each is valid under different circumstances—in different regimes. In both circumstances, we initiate our traders with heterogeneous beliefs clustered randomly in an interval near homogeneous rational expectations. We find that if our agents adapt their forecasts very slowly to new observations of the market’s behavior, the market converges to a rational-expectations regimes.
