Ultra-wideband (UWB) radars are getting much attention for maritime applications of smart and luxury ships in which UWB radar could be integrated into Bridge Navigational Watch & Alarm System - BNWAS. One of the interesting applications of UWB radar is vital signs measurement, which is a contactless method. UWB radar measures respiration and heartbeat rate by the motion of thorax for detecting and checking the state of people on the bridge.

The feasibility of the synthesis of the 309,312126 isotopes via the mentioned systems is investigated based on the widths. The widths in the excitation energy range of E= 10 – 100 MeV are calculated in the scope of the statistical model, in which the level density is calculated by using the Fermi-gas model. Increasing the understanding of the interaction of the wind, rain, and building enclosure is of special interest. Masonry veneer wall systems will be a focus of the study because of their wide-spread use. The modelling of traffic flow using methods and models from physics has a long history. In recent years especially cellular automata models have allowed for large-scale simulations of large traffic networks faster than real time. On the other hand, these systems are interesting for physicists since they allow to observe genuine nonequilibrium effects. Here the current status of cellular automata models for traffic flow is reviewed with special emphasis on nonequilibrium effects (e.g. phase transitions) induced by on- and off-ramps.

Our thesis shows the quality of semantic vector representation with random projection and Hyperspace Analogue to Language model under about the researching on Vietnamese. The main goal is how to find semantic similarity or to study synonyms in Vietnamese. We are also interested in the stability of our approach that uses Random Indexing and HAL to represent semantic of words or documents. We build a system to find the synonyms in Vietnamese called Semantic Similarity Finding System. In particular, we also evaluate synonyms resulted from our system.

Ferritin from the spleen of the Antarctic teleost Trematomus bernacchii is composed of a single subunit that contains both the ferroxidase center residues, typical of mammalian H chains, and the carboxylate residues forming the micelle nucleation site, typical of mammalian L chains. Comparison of the amino-acid sequence with those available from lower vertebrates indicates that T. bernacchii ferritin can be classified as an M-type homopolymer. The localization of different classes of alcohol dehydro-genases (ADH) in the brain is of great interest because of their role in both ethanol and retinoic acid metabolism. Conflicting data have been reported in the literature. By Northern blot and enzyme activity analyses only class III ADH has been detected in adult brain specimens, while results from riboprobe in situ hybridization indicate class I as well as class IV ADH expression in different regions of the rat brain.

Geodin is a protein encoded by a sponge gene homologous to genes from the bc-crystallins superfamily. The interest for this crystallin-type protein stems from the phylogenesis of porifera, commonly called sponges, the earliest divergence event in the history of metazoans. Here we report the preparation of geodin as a recombinant protein fromEscherichia coli, its characterization through physico-chemical analyses, and a model of its 3D structure based on homology modelling.
