Circulating tumor cell (CTC) clusters play a critical role in carcinoma metastasis. However, the rarity of CTC clusters and the limitations of capture techniques have retarded the research progress. In vitro CTC clusters model can help to further understand the biological properties of CTC clusters and their clinical significance.

Patients with fewer socioeconomic and health literacy resources are disadvantaged in their access and use of healthcare, which may give rise to worse experiences with care and thus inequalities in patient experiences. However, only a limited number of studies have examined how socioeconomic and health literacy factors shape inequalities in patients’ experiences with cancer care.

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections is an important public health problem worldwide and closely affect extrahepatic cancer. Several recent studies have investigated the relationship between HBV infection and head and neck cancer (HNC), but their findings were inconsistent. In order to address the limitations of small sample sizes, we conducted a meta-analysis to assess the association between HBV and HNC.

Current guidelines advocate for colorectal cancer (CRC) screening in adults who are at risk by using direct visualization methods such as colonoscopy. However, in Egypt, there is a paucity of data regarding the current practice of colonoscopy screening. Moreover, more information is needed about the knowledge and attitudes of potential participants regarding the procedure and possible barriers that can limit their participation.

This paper addresses the challenge of fault detection in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), commonly used in fields like environmental monitoring and healthcare. WSNs, prone to various faults due to their deployment in unpredictable environments, require effective solutions for fault detection. Traditional machine learning approaches show limitations such as unsuitability for streaming data and the detection of a single fault type.

The Nambu-Goldstone (NG) modes in the system of two segregated Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) limited by two hard walls are studied by means of the Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) theory. Based on the double-parabola approximation (DPA) combining with the Bogoliubov-de Gennes (BdG) equations we found four NG modes that proves the failure of the Watanabe-Brauner counting rule and, furthermore, their dispersion relations depend explicitly on the geometrical structure.

Vietnamese text-based person search is still a challenging problem with the limited dataset of Vietnamese descriptions. The current popular approach to this problem is Deep Neural Networks (DNNs), and recently, transformer networks have been more favored because of their outperformance over CNN and RNN networks for both vision and natural language processing tasks.

Mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) have been used as an anticancer drug delivery system with high safety and entrapment capacity thanks to their large internal space for drug accommodation, durable structure, and good biocompatibility. However, the treatment efficiency of the bare MSNs is limited due to its drug leakage and burst release. In this study, a phospholipid bilayer was covered on the MSNs surface (MSN@Lip) as a liposomal cap that not only reduced drug leakage but also improved the stability of the colloidal system.

Detection of nitroaromatic explosives (NAEs) is very important in terms of national security as well as the damage they cause to living things and the environment. The precision detection of these is a very important issue to reduce their harmful effects and take the necessary precautions. Electron-rich polyaromatic fluorescent materials are highly sensitive and selective in the detection of NAEs in terms of their fluorometric quenching abilities.

The article might inform the relevant stakeholders of the importance of engaging the locals in addressing energy issues. Failure to appreciate the importance of space for participation limits the understanding of rural people’s energy needs, and the significance of their views remains underestimated. It is therefore recommended that space for participation be created to allow social inclusion of the rural people in the energy sector.
