Thermogravimetric analysis

Reduced graphene oxide (Gr) has been synthesized electrochemically on the surface of copper metal at a fixed potential of 1.5 V versus a standard saturated calomel electrode (SCE). The synthesized Gr was then characterized with X-Ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, raman and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopies.

The influence of the black seed oil modified epoxy resin (EBSO)/monomer 3,4-epoxycyclohexylmethyl 3,4- epoxycyclohexane carboxylate (BCDE) weight ratio in the coatings based on the compounds and photoinitiator triarylsulfonium hexafluoroantimonate (TAS) on thermal properties of photocrosslinked coatings have been studied. The chemical structure of investigated UV-cured coatings was characterized by IR spectrometric analysis. Their thermogravimetric (TG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) behavior were determined by TG and DSC analysis, respectively.

The 3D printing PMMA/ZrO2 filaments with a diameter of 1.75±0.05 mm were fabricated by using a single-screw extruder at temperatures of four heating zones of 190, 200, 210, and 210°C. Testing samples were prepared from the extruded filaments by using a fusion deposition modeling 3D printer and a Haake MiniJet piston injection molding machine. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, mechanical properties, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), differential scanning calorimetry, and thermogravimetric analysis of the filaments were investigated.

Polypropylene/ maleic anhydride /organic montmorillonite nanocomposites (PP/ MA/ Org-MMT) have been prepared via direct melt intercalation in an internal mixer. Maleic anhydride (MA) was used as a compatibilizer to improve the dispersability of the clay. The structures of nanocomposites have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Mechanical properties and thermal stability were determined by tensile analysis and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), respectively.

Ammonia functionalized UiO66 (UiO66–NH2) in the form of thin film was synthesized by a solvothermal method combined with a dip–coating technique and determined with physicochemical characteristics by X–ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nitrogen physisorption measurements (BET), infrared spectroscopy (IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and ultraviolet–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV–Vis DRS).

LaMn0.5Cu0.5O3 was synthesized as nanoparticles with relatively high surface area (19 m2/g) at low temperature (600o C) from gel precursor prepared by using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and corresponding metal nitrates. Influence of pH, PVA/metals mole ratio and temperature of gel formation on the crystallization of perovskites was studied. Samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and BET (Brunaure-Emmet-Teller) measurements.

It was the first time that zeolite NaY with the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 3.8 was synthesized from phlogopite taken in Yen Bai of Vietnam in the presence of organic complex, NaOH and liquid glass. Synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Infrared lattice vibration (IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential thermal analysis (DTA), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Surface area by BET technique. The obtained results showed that the synthesized samples were well crystallized.

La0.9Ce0.1Mn0.5Cu0.5O3 was prepared by the combustion method using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and corresponding metal nitrates. Samples were characterized by thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), FT-IR spectra, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and BET (Brunaure-Emmet-Teller) measurements. The results show that perovskite phase is formed at 600o C. Sample synthesized under optimal condition has nanostructure with large specific area.
