Carrot (Daucus carota L.) is a major vegetable crop which is a good source for human diet. Carrot planting, conventionally done by manual dibbling, is a labour intensive and thus, costly operation. The mechanization of carrot planting aims to reduce the operational costs, minimizing human drudgery and enhance the production.

The experiment was conducted in Post Graduate Seed Testing Laboratory, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj (U.P.) during kharif season 2018. Effect of polymer seed coating and seed treatment on seed quality parameters and yield attributing characters of hybrid maize consisted of 12 treatments with four replication in lab.
