The low specificity of Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data System (TI-RADS) for preoperative benignmalignant diagnosis leads to a large number of unnecessary biopsies. This study developed and validated a predictive model based on MRI morphological features to improve the specificity.

Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most frequent malignant tumor in thyroid carcinoma. The aim of this study was to explore the risk factors associated with central lymph node metastasis in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) and establish a nomogram model that can assess the probability of central lymph node metastasis (CLNM).

Melanoma develops in the cells that produce melanin; ocular melanoma accounts for 3–4% of all malignant melanomas. Thyroid tumors are the most common endocrine neoplasms, with more than 95% of cases arising from follicular cell origin. Previous studies have reported associations between malignant melanoma and a wide variety of malignancies.

Papillary thyroid carcinoma accounts for the most common type of thyroid cancer of well-differentiated type. Papillary thyroid carcinoma is featured by biologically low-grade and less aggressive tumors with a survival rate of 10 years in most of the diagnosed cases.

We present a rare case of thyroid lesion marked as the Warthin-like variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (WLV-PTC) with lymph node metastases. A proper preoperative identification is difficult because of unspecific cytology features and common ultrasound characteristics of this malignant tumor.

Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) overexpression has been observed in the endothelial neovasculature of several solid malignancies. This study aimed to identify PSMA expression in the primary tumor of classical papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) and assess the correlation between the degree of PSMA expression and recurrence.

Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC) was a rare malignancy featured with the weak immunotherapeutic response. So far, disorders of immunogenic cell death genes (ICDGs) were identified as the driving factors in cancer progression, while their roles in ATC remained poorly clear.

Primary thyroid lymphoma (PTL) and papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) are both thyroid malignancies, but their therapeutic methods and prognosis are different. This study aims to explore their sonographic and computed tomography(CT)features, and to improve the early diagnosis rate.

To study the stiffness characteristics of benign and malignant thyroid nodules on elastography ultrasound and the evaluation of elastography ultrasound in the diagnosis of thyroid cancer. Subject and method: This study included 535 patients with 557 thyroid nodules confirmed by histopathology, from September 2019 to August 2020.

Thyroid cancer is the most frequent malignancy of the endocrine system, of which papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is the predominant form with a rapid increasing incidence worldwide. Rearranged during transfection (RET) fusions are common genetic drivers of PTC and the potent RET inhibitor selpercatinib has been recently approved for treating advanced or metastatic RET fusion-positive thyroid cancer.

Thyroid cancer (TC) is one of the most common endocrine malignancies, and its morbidity continues to rise. N6 -methyladenosine (m6 A) RNA methylation, an epigenetic modification, is an important regulator of gene expression in TC.

Warthin like-papillary thyroid cancer (WL-PTC) is a rare malignancy; it is difficult to distinguish preoperatively a WLPTC from a classic PTC. Often it is associated with Hashimoto thyroiditis (HT) that determines a better prognosis with a very low probability of recurrence.

We report a case of a 65-year-old woman who sustained a left neck of femur (NOF) fracture following low-energy trauma. Computed tomography (CT) scan for the neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis was normal apart from enlargement of the right lobe of the thyroid. Interestingly, thyroid function was normal. While waiting for the result of thyroid cytology and bone histology, the patient recovered well from the operation and started to engage well with physiotherapy.

Ectopic intrathyroidal thymic tissue in an adult patient: A case report and review of the literature
Ectopic intrathyroidal thymic tissue is a rare diagnosis, specifically in adults. Such ectopic tissue is usually misdiagnosed as benign or malignant thyroid lesions and is mainly investigated by ultrasonography and pathologic examination.

Malignant struma ovarii is a very rare type of gynecologic cancer. Although its most common histological subtype is a pure type of papillary thyroid carcinoma containing two components, papillary carcinoma and poorly differentiated carcinoma, malignant struma ovarii is still extremely rare.

Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the thyroid is a very rare malignancy with aggressive growth and poor prognosis. There is currently no consensus for treatment modality, however, most patients with primary squamous cell carcinoma of the thyroid are treated with surgery and adjuvant chemoradiation.

Hyalinizing trabecular tumor is a rare follicular cell-derived thyroid neoplasm that is considered to be a borderline tumor with malignant potential rather than a benign tumor. The detection of RET/PTC rearrangements and nuclear cytologic features suggests a relationship between hyalinizing trabecular tumor and papillary thyroid carcinoma.

Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most common histological type of thyroid malignancy that tends to metastasize to cervical lymph nodes. In the present study, we aimed to investigate which clinicopathologic and ultrasound features of PTC are associated with clinical lymph node metastasis (LNM) and numbers of pathological LNM.
